The Olson Technology Inc. OTMN-II is a high performance, four output, two way optical node with performance up to 870MHz. This unit also includes a power factor corrected switching power supply and transient protection on all external ports. The OTMN-II is the ultimate in return band performance with DFB laser and +50dBmV output. Features and capabilities include optional redundant forward/return path operation; optional “Spectrum Multiplier” that doubles the return bandwidth module; optional use of power port for return output/input.

LCX12-AMP
LCX12-AMP Picture
The LCX12-AMP is a high performance 55 to 870 MHz distribution amplifier designed to work with the output of the 12-port combiner utilized in the Olson Technology LCM-550x12 System. It is easily attached to the back of the LCM-550x12 chassis by two thumb screws. It will provide +45dBmV of output per channel when connected to the output of the 12 port combiner.

The Olson Technology Return Spectrum Multiplier Node, model RSM-II, is an EXTREMELY COST EFFECTIVE, completely integrated, four band conversion system with a DFB Return Laser for the optimum in NPR performance. When operated with the Olson Technology OTDC-440 Down Converter / Optical Receiver, the unit effectively gives the operator a four times spectrum multiplication over a single fiber. This product is ideal for heavy traffic return nodes on currently installed fiber and provides a Plug and Play installation.

OTON-II System
OTON-II System Picture
The OTON-II is a high level single output optical node that employs the latest GaA's technology throughout. The unit operates over a wide optical input range of - 4dBm to + 3dBm and provides output levels of >+ 50dBmV depending on slope and channel loading. The DFB return laser transmitter provides the optimum in output power (3mW) and distortion with the >41dB NPR range being >15dB. An internal status panel provides for easy setup and monitoring of internal voltage and optical levels.

OTPN-1000
The OTPN-1000 is a high sensitivity full feature optical node that is designed to work with input levels as low as -6dBm and provide output levels to +45dBmV. The unit operates from a universal power supply (90VAC to 240VAC) or an optional 24V DC or 48V DC input. The return optical path is from either a 1mW FP laser or a 3mW DFB laser.

OTOT-870
The Olson Technology Inc. model OTOT-870 is a very cost effective wideband optical transmitter that is specified to 870MHz. Intended for indoor applications this unit houses the transmitter and universal AC power supply in one compact housing that measures 6.4” x 3.0” x 2.75”. The optical output power is 3.0mW minimum and when utilized with the Olson Technology OTPN-1000 provides very useful wideband performance with a loss budget of up to 10dB.

OTOR-300
The Olson Technology Model OTOR-300 is a self contained high level return band receiver that is capable of providing output carrier levels of +45dBmV with optical input levels of -14dBm. The unit will provide the full output level with input levels from -14dBm to +3dBm. The output level is set with a plug-in internal attenuator. This unit provides a return bandwidth of >300MHz making it useful for block conversion applications such as the Olson Technology Model RSM-II Return Spectrum Multiplier.

OTA-1000

The OTA-1000 is a completely self contained miniture wideband push-pull amplifier with a built-in 90 VAC to 240 VAC power supply. This unit is capable of operation a +40dBmV carrier to 550MHz and 6dB reduced digital loading to 870MHz with CSO and CTB being >65dB. The small size (2.5 X 2.7 X 1.5) of this unit makes it ideal for laser driver applications or for instrumentation setups.

This new, high-tech, reliable Spectrum Multiplier was developed for the return band of cable television systems. It provides (4) four times the available bandwidth per subscriber over a single fiber optic return link. The customer can send any form of digital signal over the return band from their home to the head-end. Pay-per-view, Internet communications, and digital telephony can all be transmitted by this system.
